100 oz. Silver Bar Image Gallery
Although most 100 oz. silver bars are purchased on the basis of their silver content, most buyers and sellers will differentiate the manufacturer of the bar and the purity. In some cases, these factors can create differences in premiums from one silver bar compared to another.

One of the most popular and widely traded options are the Engelhard 100 oz. Silver Bars. The bar pictured above includes the brand stamp at the center, information on the precious metals content and purity above "999+ FINE SILVER 100 TR. OZ", and a serial number below.

Another widely traded option are the bars manufactured by Johnson-Matthey. The 100 ounce bar pictured above is one of their newly manufactured bars, which contains their brand stamp at one end and markings indicating the assay office and purity on the other side.

Less frequently encountered, but notable because of the increased purity standards are the Royal Canadian Mint 100 oz. Silver Bars. While most manufacturers will refine their silver to a purity of .999, the Royal Canadian Mint has a higher standard of .9999. These bars are marked with the mint emblem, the year of manufacture, a serial number, and the weight and purity of the bar.
